BudgetLuma Local Budget Data

BudgetLuma is a personal budget planner that works in local mode without an account. Information entered by the user may include monthly income targets, manually entered income and expense amounts, transaction dates, categories, optional transaction notes, category budget limits, currency choice, theme preference, and analysis settings.

This information is stored in the app's local database and preferences. BudgetLuma does not connect to bank accounts and does not request bank login credentials or payment-card numbers. Android's optional backup or device-transfer features may copy the local database and preferences through the user's device or Google backup settings.

BudgetLuma Account Information

BudgetLuma offers optional email/password and Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication and Google Identity services. If a user creates or connects an account, these services may process an email address, user ID, display name, profile image, authentication provider, email-verification status, authentication tokens, and device or network information needed to secure the sign-in process.

Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not made available to Maple Joy Studio. When the secure sync service is configured and a user signs in, BudgetLuma may synchronize that account's transactions, transaction dates, categories, optional notes, original currency codes, category budgets, and monthly plans with Maple Joy Studio's protected server infrastructure. This supports account-linked backup and continuity; local mode remains available without an account or server sync.

BudgetLuma Smart and Cloud Analysis

BudgetLuma provides on-device budgeting insights that can work offline. If secure cloud analysis is configured and the user explicitly enables it, BudgetLuma authenticates the request and sends a summarized monthly snapshot over HTTPS. The snapshot may include the month, income target, recorded income total, recorded expense total, total planned budget, category names, category spending totals, and category limits.

Cloud-analysis requests do not include individual transaction notes, individual transaction descriptions, bank credentials, or payment-card numbers. The summarized information is used to generate the requested budget score, summary, and tips, and to operate and secure the analysis service. Cloud analysis remains optional and local analysis is used when it is unavailable or disabled.

How BudgetLuma Information Is Used and Shared

BudgetLuma information is used to provide local budgeting, authenticated synchronization and backup, currency conversion requested by the user, requested analysis, account support, security, and service maintenance. Maple Joy Studio does not sell BudgetLuma personal or financial information and does not use it for advertising.

Information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf, including Firebase Authentication, Google Identity services, Android backup or device-transfer services selected by the user, institutional exchange-rate sources, and Maple Joy Studio's secure synchronization and analysis infrastructure. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

BudgetLuma Data and Account Deletion

Users can remove locally stored BudgetLuma transactions and monthly plans from the app's Settings screen. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data from the device, although an Android backup may remain under the user's Google or device backup settings until that backup expires or is deleted.

Signed-in users can choose “Delete account” in BudgetLuma Settings to request deletion of their Firebase account and server-synchronized BudgetLuma records. Account deletion does not automatically erase data that remains only on the current device; users can clear that local data separately in Settings or uninstall the app. If in-app deletion is unavailable, email maplestudioinfo@gmail.com with the subject “BudgetLuma account deletion” and the account email address. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting. Verified email requests are normally completed within 30 days, except for limited information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving disputes.

BudgetLuma Age and Financial Information

BudgetLuma is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. Its budget insights are general information for educational purposes and are not professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Guessly and Animal Tower Defense Information

Guessly and Animal Tower Defense are designed for family-friendly play. Our apps may process game progress, selected categories or levels, scores, coin or item balances, achievements, leaderboard progress, purchase status, device information needed for ads or app operation, and optional Google Play Games profile information if a player chooses to sign in.

We do not ask players to create a Maple Joy Studio account, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information inside our apps.

AdMob and Google Mobile Ads

Our apps may show ads provided by AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. Google and its partners may collect and use information such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other data described in Google's advertising policies in order to deliver, measure, and improve ads.

Players and parents can manage ad personalization through device settings and Google account ad settings where available.

Google Play Billing and In-App Purchases

Our apps may offer optional in-app purchases, such as coins or other digital items, through Google Play Billing where available. Payments are processed by Google Play. Maple Joy Studio does not receive or store payment card numbers. Our apps may receive purchase confirmation information from Google Play so the app can deliver purchased items and maintain purchase status.

Google Play Games Services

Our apps may offer optional sign-in with Google Play Games Services. If a player chooses to sign in, Google Play Games Services may provide information such as a player ID, display name, profile image, and game activity needed for Play Games features.

Our apps may use Google Play Games Services cloud save / Saved Games to save and restore game progress, coin or item balances, completed levels or categories, achievements, and related gameplay state across supported devices.

Achievements and Leaderboards

Our apps may include achievements and leaderboards through Google Play Games Services. Achievement progress, scores, leaderboard entries, and related gameplay activity may be sent to Google Play Games Services when a player uses these optional features.

Children and Families

Guessly and Animal Tower Defense are intended to be family-friendly. We aim to avoid collecting personal information directly from children. Some third-party services used by the apps, such as Google Mobile Ads, Google Play Billing, and Google Play Games Services, may process data as described in their own policies and settings.

Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information that should be deleted can contact us at maplestudioinfo@gmail.com.

Data Deletion Requests

To request deletion of data associated with Guessly or Animal Tower Defense that Maple Joy Studio can access or control, email maplestudioinfo@gmail.com. Please include enough information for us to understand and process the request.

Users can also manage or delete Google Play Games data through their Google Play Games profile or Google Account settings. Data processed by Google services may be controlled by Google account, device, and Play Games settings.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use Google services including Firebase Authentication, Google Identity, AdMob / Google Mobile Ads, Google Play Billing, and Google Play Games Services. BudgetLuma may also use Maple Joy Studio's secure analysis infrastructure when the user enables cloud analysis. These services are subject to their applicable terms, privacy policies, security measures, and user controls.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of our apps after a policy update means the updated policy applies.
